Aquaponics Nu consists of a group of individuals dedicated to providing solutions to sustainable urban development. Participating in the entrepreneurial community of open-source start-ups in Copenhagen, the founding partners have gathered their knowledge together to create a practical solution to the issues identified in the centralized food system.

Educated at the IT University of Copenhagen, Erik has a history of agricultural practice and provides technical and practical support to the research and development of our systems.
Andreas Hagerman M.Sc., Founding partner
Educated at the IT university of Copenhagen, Andreas is our in-house IT manager, providing technical solutions to web development and technical systems in our aquaponics system.
Jacob Waltman M.A., Founding partner
An alumnus of six universities in European capital cities, Jacob has a master’s degree in Urban Studies, and wrote his thesis about urban agriculture. Jacob provides support to the research and development of our systems and provides a contact for business development.
